Good stuff!

I was first introduced to her music after hearing her on the Bob Harris show in the late 90's. Mr Harris is responsible for hundreds of my cd's Smile Shame the BBC have marginalised him so much over the years but that's another story.
Equipment choices:

Playstation 3 SACD, Bitzie DAC, Meridian Explorer DAC, Lautus USB cable, HD250-II, HD650

Saw Bob Harris in Wantage once, didn't realise until then how tall he is. Next time was at a charity music quiz night in Steventon village hall when he was the quizmaster, he'd plundered Ken Bruces's archive for the questions! Our team came second separated from the winner by just half a point...or maybe it was half a pint! Wink

The Stypes album made me feel good in both senses, and also enjoyed REM's Green and Springsteen's Nebraska (as discussed on Sound of Song - wish I had that version of Born in the USA) this evening. None are audiophile but I enjoyed them anyway.

Also enjoyed Rostropovich playing Haydn's Cello Concerto which was in the Decca box set previously discussed.

Open mind and ears whilst owning GSP Genera, Accession M, Accession MC, Elevator EXP, Solo ULDE, Proprius amps, Cusat50 cables, Lautus digital cable, Spatia cables and links, and a Majestic DAC.

Today I've been listening to On The Beach by Chris Rea. I really love this rather nostalgic and introspective album of Rea's. The standout track for me is the all too true Hello Friend.
