Good recommendation Jon, a beautiful track and the vinyl is so much better than the CD, especially with a Elevator/Reflex M in the chain Wink Curious as to why you've re-ripped them?

I also have the SHM-SACDs, but these LPs might even be a tad better (apart from a hint of sibilance in a couple of spots on side 2 of the self titled album). Just beware that the same boxset has been pressed both at Pallas Germany and at GZ Czech Republic. I have the Pallas version (it was written on the sticker on the wrapping), and while the records had an unusually high share of paper fragments/dust on them, it's wonderfully pressed: almost no surface noise, flat discs, no scratches or signs of mishandling. I have read of people buying the GZ version and not being as satisfied.

Having bought this set (arrived yesterday), my copy only states "Made in EU" on the run-out grooves. Does yours say anything different? I've probably got the CZ version Cry but haven't played it yet

I ordered my set of DS studio albums last week from Diverse Vinyl. The blurb there says Pallas, Germany for pressings. I'll let you know what my copies are marked . . . Ermm

The Pallas pressings are really good.
I bought mine last year before they released the complete set.

The stampers should be the same, so I guess the only way to check if it's the Pallas version is probably from the sticker on the wrapper. Anyway, if it sounds good don't worry! GZ can make good vinyl too... Simply, they are a bit "variable" in their quality control. But if your copy sounds good...

I am listening to Chet Faker and his debut album 'Built On Glass', an amazing album that is a mix of jazz, soul and a tiny bit of trip-hop. Some lovely sax and a deep soulful voice that reminds of Bill Withers with a touch of Tinderbox and hint of Steely Dan and Massive Attack at times. A great relaxing late night listen.
Go on, treat yourself to a listen on anything that Graham produces!
...If only I knew that yesterday!
